About Us

Meet the Premier Accounts Team

We are a family owned and ran Manchester accounting company, we've been serving our community for over 20 years.

Our Approach

We provide a professional yet personal service to sole traders, partnerships and limited companies, to many sectors of business including transport, leisure, catering, tradesmen, retail, IT and many more.

We pride ourselves in retaining our clients, and building a trusting business relationship between us and our clients. Our aim is to always endeavour to give a first class service to our clients, specialising in maximising growth for businesses and being there to give advice and assist your business.

Our Team

Chris Williams BA (Hons), AFA/MIPA

Managing Director

Chris commenced working for the company 7 years ago and whilst studying has also trained in several areas of the business including VAT, Final Accounts and property management. He has achieved a degree in Accounting and Financial Management and is currently studying towards ACCA qualification. He is now a director of the company taking over the day to day management of the company.

Trevor Williams

Senior Director

Trevor is one of the directors of the business and formed the company almost 30 years ago. He is a qualified management accountant and previous to this was a senior accountant in an international textile company. He is involved in the presentation of the final accounts, tax investigations and tax consultancy. His interests outside the business include walking, keeping fit and pursuing new hobbies.

Barbara Williams

Company Secretary

Barbara has helped to develop Premier Accounts and Consultancy Ltd along with her husband Trevor. She introduced a payroll service in 1995 to the business after working for an international company as Head of a payroll department. She is also a qualified bookkeeper. Barbara is now semi retired but is still an active member of staff managing the administration of the business. When not working she has a love of the countryside, swimming and photography.

Clare Bainbridge

Sales & Marketing

Clare is Head of the Payroll Department managing the team and coordinating day to day payroll processes and procedures. She is also Head of the Sales and Marketing implementing the company strategy, networking and core business objectives. Clare studied Marketing Management at Sheffield University in 1991 and after gaining experience elsewhere joined the family business in 2008. Out of work she is a Mum of 2 young boys which keeps her very busy.

Victoria Bennett

Payroll Manager

Victoria has worked for the company for 8 years. She works in the Payroll department processing our weekly payrolls and is responsible for all the outgoing correspondence & administrative tasks. Away from the office, she is a dance and music teacher. She also is a competitive ballroom dancer currently ranked in the top 5 in the country.

Jayne Marlow

Accounts Assistant

Jayne has 7 years experience and is AAT qualified. She has a thorough operational knowledge of many accounting and bookkeeping software. Her main responsibilities include preparation of annual accounts, VAT returns and book keeping. Away from the office, Jayne is a Mum. She has a keen interest in beauty therapy and interior design.

Laura Koch

Junior Accounts Assistant

Laura has worked for the company since 2010. She is working towards her AAT qualification, and has a range of tasks in the office, including accounts & VAT analysis, payroll processing and is responsible for all the administration and correspondence of the office. Away from the office Laura likes outdoor activities and retail shopping.
